The Sentinel® NJ expansion joint from Stirling Lloyd has been developed as a moderate movement expansion joint system for highway bridges, footbridges, car parks and building applications
COMPONENTS
The Sentinel® NJ Nosing Joint system is a Type 4 surface mounted expansion joint, comprising a central preformed load bearing compression seal, bonded between elastomeric nosings.

TYPE 1 BURIED EXPANSION JOINT – BD33/94
WHAT IS IT?
The Sentinel® B Buried Expansion Joints from Stirling Lloyd are Highway Bridge Type 1 buried joints, designed to compliment the Eliminator® bridge deck waterproofing system.
COMPONENTS
Sentinel® B buried joints are composed of high performance continuously extruded PVC profiles, designed to minimize seams.
The system is securely bonded to the concrete or steel substrate using Metaset Structural Adhesive, a unique adhesive designed specifically for civil engineering environments. A high bond strength is achieved to the substrate, waterproofing and joint components to provide an integrated solution.

TYPE 2 EXPANSION JOINT SYSTEM – BD33/94
WHAT IS IT?
The Asphaltic Plug Joint System is a full depth Asphaltic Plug Joint installed after the carriageway surfacing, kerbs and verges have been complete.
COMPONENTS
A polymer modified bituminous bridge joint binder, mixed with graded aggregate to form an asphaltic plug joint in asphalt and concrete carriageways in temperate climates.
SENTINEL® EMR
FOR MOVEMENTS 5MM - 150MM
TYPE 6 ELASTOMER IN RAIL JOINT SYSTEM – BD33/94
WHAT IS IT?
The Sentinel® EMR Expansion Joint system from Stirling Lloyd is a Type 6 surface, mounted mechanical system that incorporates a central elastomeric seal inserted into two steel carrier rails. The expansion joint requires no mechanical fixing to the substrate.
